NBC Universal has pulled WKAQ-Channel 2, Telemundo Puerto Rico and KWHY-Channel 22 in Los Angeles off the market. They had previously put both stations up for sale in October, after buying Oxygen Media. The stations’ sale would have helped pay for NBC Universal’s $925 million acquisition.
According to Hispanic Market Weekly, the company’s asking price was too high for potential buyers.
