Will Time Warner be dismantled?

Jeffrey Bewkes takes over as CEO of Time Warner Inc. next week, currently the world’s largest media company. But analysts are already predicting Bewkes will quickly turn around and sell the AOL Web and Time Inc. magazine units, keeping and focusing on film studio and cable-TV networks, similar to Viacom Inc.’s holdings, which bring in more money.

Bloomberg reports the sale of AOL could go for as much as $18 billion.
