The Radio and Television News Director’s Foundation (RTNDF) will present Knight Foundation President and CEO Alberto Ibargüen the First Amendment Award for the foundation’s ongoing support of Sunshine Week and open government initiatives.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 12 in Washington, D.C.
Ibargüen was named president of Knight Foundation in 2005. He is the former publisher of The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald.
