Martinez switched to weekends at KTLA

Jason Martinez, who started at KTLA-5 in Los Angeles in January as a reporter and then was moved up to the anchor seat for the 6:30 pm and 10 pm news, is now doing weekend duty.

Kevin Roderick, of L.A. Observed, first reported yesterday that the Tribune station was bringing in new anchors. Today, he posted the joint memo from the station’s GM and news director, detailing Jason’s new assignment: weekend newscast co-anchor.
