Cano named publisher of El Latino

Mike Cano is the new publisher of El Latino newspaper in San Diego. He was most recently VP of Regional Advertising at La Opinión in Los Angeles.

Mike was previously president of Impacto USA. Before that, he was general manager of Al Dia, the Spanish-language daily published by the Dallas Morning News. Prior to that, he was general manager of the Orange County Register’s weekly Excelsior.
