In a surprise move, Lou Dobbs announced at the top of his show tonight that it would be his last. Citing “winds of change” and a call for action from unnamed people, he said he would be exploring many options.
Hispanic activist groups, many of which accused Dobbs of pushing an anti-immigrant agenda on his show and were seeking his termination, are claiming victory. A network of organizations started a viral campaign called “Basta Dobbs.” The group’s Web site has more details on their activities and the list of supporters.
