Gil tells me that he had two main reasons for calling it quits: “The first reason was all the hate mail, malicious viruses and attacks on the Web site. Secondly, the demand of time in order to do a good job was ever increasing.”
Gil points out there was also a cost issue involved in hosting the site and as he did it as community service, he wasn’t even charging people to advertise on El Sol de Alaska.
