NPR hires Garcia

NPR today announced Robert Garcia will join its management team, in charge of the NPR Newscast service.

Robert will be moving back to Washington, D.C. from NYC, where he most recently served as Executive Director, News and Sports for ABC News Radio.

He starts the new job on February 16, 2010.
