Univision announced its multi-platform fundraising effort, which included a 5 hour star-studded Sábado Gigante special, has raised $6.3 million in donations to the American Red Cross. A third of that money was received via the network’s dedicated Web site, www.univisionhaiti.com.
According to Univision estimates, almost 8 million people watched the “Unidos por Haití” special, which was simulcast on Galavision and on AM radio stations across Radio Cadena Univision.
