Fernando will be in charge of Hoy’s editorial strategy across print and digital platforms.
Prior to Hoy, Fernando was Community Manager for News and Opinion for ChicagoNow. He previously worked at The Chicago Reporter, The Daily Herald and Democrat & Chronicle in Rochester, NY.
Fernando is currently a region director on the board of the NAHJ.
