Univision is preparing to shine with its World Cup coverage. The multi-game event, which starts June 11, will be seen in HD in all of Univision’s TV networks (which include Telefutura and Galavision). The matches will also be available online, on mobile devices and on demand.
All 64 games will air live across every U.S. time zone. Viewers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico will also be able to see the games streaming live on univisionfutbol.com. Every match will be available on the Univision On Demand platform to subscribers the morning after it airs live. Mobile streaming of live matches will be accessible to Verizon Wireles V Cast subscribers where available.
Every single Univision show will be plugging “el mundial” – Despierta América, El Gordo y La Flaca, Primer Impacto and Noticiero Univision. The first match will be South Africa vs. Mexico. It will no doubt be a ratings success.
