Argentina-Mexico game sets Spanish TV record

 


 

More than 9.3 million people watched the World Cup game between Argentina and Mexico on Univision on Sunday. According to Univision, the game delivered the highest viewership of any program in the network’s history, making it “the single most watched telecast in the history of Spanish-language television in the United States.”

Additionally, Univision Interactive Media got more than 12.4 million page views and over 1.6 million visits across all platforms the day of the Argentina-Mexico match. The game also generated more than 72,000 peak simultaneous streams on UnivisionFutbol.com.
