PODER magazine downsizes to bimonthly

July 5, 2010 by Veronica Villafañe

PODER magazine moves to a bimonthly format starting with the June/July issue. With the folding of Hispanic magazine, Poder will acquire its name. It will now be PODER Hispanic magazine.

The new mag will include more lifestyle coverage and will publish Julie Stav’s finance and business column, which previously ran on Hispanic.

Besides the U.S. and Miami editions, PODER magazine is published in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Chile.

though the frequency of Poder has been reduced to 6x annually, the Poder circulation has been dramatically increased from 100,000to 400,000 generating 1.2 million readers per issue–a much larger audience than when the frequency was 10x
