Guzmán’s lawsuit against NY Post moves forward

A judge has denied the New York Post’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit Sandra Guzmán filed in November of 2009. In the suit, Sandra alleges she was unlawfully fired and was the victim of sexual harassment at work, with one executive calling her “Cha Cha #1.”

The Huffington Post reports the judge in the case yesterday determined her suit can move forward, saying Sandra had raised sufficient “factual allegations” that her termination from the paper was retaliatory.

Sandra worked for the Post for 6 years. She was terminated on Sept. 29. She seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
