Univision tied with ABC for the number one spot in Friday night’s ratings. But it took the lead at 9 pm, with the top rated show of the evening – the novela “Soy Tu Dueña.”
According to Media Life, both ABC and Univision averaged 1.4 in adults 18-45 with a 5 share, based on Nielsen overnights. NBC came in third at 1.3 with a 4 share.
ABC was steady all night, finishing first or second each hour, but Univision got a big spike at 9 pm with the Fernando Colunga/Lucero soap which averaged a 1.9, making it the highest-rated show.
Univision also tied with ABC and NBC for first at 8 pm with “Eva Luna” at 1.2.
All ratings are based on live-plus-same-day DVR playback. 38% of Nielsen households have DVRs.
