Insiders tell me about a dozen employees were laid off, mostly production staff. On air-talent was also eliminated, including reporter Andrés Herrera. I have yet to confirm the names of the other casualties and reported changes at the L.A. station. I’ll be posting those as soon as I get the confirmed details.
Station reps have yet to make a statement. I’m told LBI execs have been in a meeting all day.
