Cantor extends contract at Telemundo

His trademark “goooooooooool” will continue to resonate on Telemundo. The network today announced it has extended Andrés Cantor’s multi-year contract, on the 10th year anniversary of his move to Telemundo.

Andrés has been a high-profile sports personality in the Spanish-language world. He has covered 8 World Cups and several Olympic Games.

Since he joined Telemundo, he has hosted several shows, including “Fútbol Telemundo,” “Rumbo al Mundial,” and “Titulares Telemundo.”

Andrés is also the owner and President of Fútbol de Primera, a syndicated sports radio network that produces and syndicates his daily radio program which airs in over 100 stations in the U.S.

Prior to joining Telemundo, Andrés spent 13 years at Univision.
