KBEH expands coverage area

HERO Broadcasting has secured carriage on Cox Communications in Southern California for its full-powered station, KBEH-DT 63. The move extends coverage into Orange County and Ranchos Palos Verdes, completing its penetration into the Los Angeles DMA.

KBEH-DT 63.1 is an affiliate of MTV Tr3s. As part of the deal, Cox will also be carrying Mexicanal on multi-cast channel 63.3.

The station was launched in 2007 by industry vet Bob Behar, CEO of HERO Broadcasting.
