The first Spanish-language book fair in the U.S. makes its debut today in Los Angeles. LéaLA will be a free, 3 day event at the L.A. Convention Center and will feature more than 80 renowned authors from different Latin American countries, including several journalists turned authors.
Among the lineup of journalist/authors presenting at the event: Sanjuana Martínez, Anabel Hernández and Lydia Cacho.
LéaLA is an initiative organized by the University of Guadalajara USA Foundation and supported by the Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara; and the University of Guadalajara in Los Angeles.
