Ron Trevino is back to anchoring weekday mornings at KHOU-11, starting today. According to MikeMcGuff.com, Ron had previously anchored mornings bringing in great ratings.
Ron, who has been with the Houston station for the past 25 years, was most recently anchoring the 11 am news at noon and reporting for the evening newscasts.
Meanwhile, this move will be affecting the current weekday morning anchor – Vicente Arenas. He’s returning to his old schedule: anchoring weekends, a job he held when he joined KHOU in 2004.
Prior to moving to Houston, Vicente was weekday morning anchor and consumer reporter at WOAI in San Antonio.
