Latino Film Fest ends with a Hollywood bang

The 15th annual Los Angeles Latino Film Festival (LALIFF) came to an end on Monday evening, with the showing of  “Cowboys and Aliens.”   The multi-million dollar sci-fi western due out on July 29, was co-written and co-produced by Mexican-born Roberto Orci, whose producing credits include “Star Trek,” “The Legend of Zorro,” “Mission: Impossible III,” and “Transformers.” He is the co-creator  of the Fox hit TV show “Fringe.”

In all, the festival showed 76 films, including 42 feature films  and 34 short films from 14 different countries.
