Using advanced 3D computer animation to create real life models of cities, houses, public spaces and future modes of transportation, “2111,” a Discovery Latin America/U.S. Hispanic original series, examines what Latin America would look like 100 years from now.
The series “transports” viewers to the Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires of tomorrow.
The six-episode “2111” was narrated by Mexican journalist Idzi Dutkiewicz. Filmed in Japan, Korea, England, Spain and the U.S., it features the opinion of futurologists in the areas of science, technology and culture.
“2111” will air every Saturday at 8 pm ET, beginning Nov. 19.
