Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti honored three Latina journalists during the first annual “Latinas in Media Day.”
Pilar Marrero, senior political writer and columnist for La Opinión, Josefa Salinas morning show news anchor and host of “The Community Review” on KHHT 92.3, and Luz Villarreal, producer for Dateline NBC were given a special recognition during a special ceremony in the City Council chambers held last Friday, December 9 in the LA City Council.
