SBS switches formats for Miami station

SBS has launched a 24 hour salsa radio station in Miami targeting 25 to 64 year-old Hispanics, abandoning the format of Spanish oldies on WCMQ Clásica 92.3 FM.

Salsa singer Willie Chirino will be the official voice and image of Z92 “Zalsa y Más!” (WCMQ- 92.3FM), which started its transmissions this past Sunday, April 1st.

In addition to Z92, SBS owns other Miami stations WXDJ Zol 95.7FM, WRMA Romance 106.7FM and WRAZ Cima 106.3FM.
