Univision Las Vegas picks up regional Emmys

KINC-15, the Univision affiliate in Las Vegas won Emmys in 3 categories during the awards ceremony of the Pacific Southwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).

Chief Photographer Ricardo Bonilla, Anchor Carolina Sarassa,news director Adriana Arévalo and photographer Jairo Aguilar were among the 2012 Emmy winners.

Here are the winning categories:

Historical/Cultural – Program or Special

  • Los Mejores Años/ The Better Years, Carolina Sarassa, Adriana Arévalo, Ricardo Bonilla, KINC Univision

Informational/Instructional – Program or Special

  • Vida de Perros/A Dog’s Life, Carolina Sarassa, Adriana Arevalo, KINC Univision

Arts/Entertainment – Single Story or Series

  • Chambeando Con Camila Part 1/2, Gerardo Fernandez, Adriana Arévalo, Armando Avila, Jairo Aguilar, KINC Univision

There ceremony took place in San Diego on June 16.
