América TeVé wins 9 Emmys

AméricaTeVe, which had received 30 nominations in 21 categories for the Suncoast Emmy Awards, outperformed Univision and Telemundo in the number of wins during the awards ceremony held this past Saturday.

The Miami-based independent station won Emmys in 9 categories, while Telemundo won 4 and Univision just 1.

AméricaTeVé today even threw an in-house party to celebrate the big win.
