“La Bronca,” whose real name is Silvia del Valle, starts the new gig on December 17. She’ll be heard on “La Número Uno” on Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 pm PT.
Silvia most recently hosted a show for Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) that aired on “La Raza” Regional Mexican stations KLAX 97.9 FM in Los Angeles, KRZZ 93.3 FM in San Francisco and WRAZ 106.3 FM in Miami. She was also a judge on Azteca América’s reality show “Quiero Ser Grupero,” a Regional Mexican singing competition.
Silvia started her radio broadcasting career in San Francisco, before moving back to Los Angeles in 2008.
