Novelas make Univision #1 on Tuesday

January 24, 2013 by Veronica Villafañe

Amores Verdaderos
“Amores Verdaderos” was Univision’s top rated novela on Tuesday night.

Univision’s novelas helped the network score a big win last Tuesday.  Univision ranked #1 among adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, based on Nielsen live plus same day ratings during broadcast prime.

This is the second time in 2013 – the first was Tuesday, January 1 – that the network was # 1 in the key Adult 18-49 demo, and the 13th time this season during primetime.

Univision barely won over ABC, with 2.39 million adults 18-49 compared to 2.38 million from the Disney-owned network.

Univision’s top shows were its 9 pm. novela “Amores Verdaderos,” which was the # 1 Tuesday-night program with  Adults 18-49 (2.8 million) and the 8 pm novela “Por Ella Soy Eva,” which was the # 4 most-watched TV program on Tuesday night with Adults 18-49 (2.4 million).
