Hermosillo joins FOX Deportes

FOX Deportes today announced it has added ex-professional soccer player Carlos Hermosillo to the line-up of commentators for its soccer talk show, “La Última Palabra.”

Hermosillo made his debut on Wednesday, February 6.  He’ll be participating in the show providing analysis 3 days a week alongside other soccer commentators including, André Marin, Daniel “el ruso” Brailovsky, Carlos Sequeyro, Fabián Estay, Bonifacio Nuñez, Gonzalo Farfán, Raul Orvañanos, and Luis Omar Tapia.

Hermosillo is a former member of the Mexican national soccer team, where he was once the all-time leading scorer with 35 goals.  He was also part of the  Mexican League soccer clubs’, America, Cruz Azul, Atlante and Guadalajara. In 2002 he became the Sports Director for the Spanish national soccer team and in 2006 was named the head of the National Commission for Sports, the Mexican government’s office in charge of all sport policies in the country.

“La Última Palabra” airs Monday through Friday, 12am ET/9pm PT on FOX Deportes.
