Telemundo Media and Warner Music Latina have signed a partnership deal to develop up-and-coming Latin musical talent.

As part of the partnership, Warner Music Latina will work with Telemundo to sign, market and promote Latin music stars.

Warner Music Latina will oversee all musical aspects and Telemundo will run multi-platform promotional campaigns on its networks, Telemundo and mun2, as well as its local and digital properties.

Telemundo telenovela actor Gabriel Coronel is the first artist to be signed under the agreement. The 26-year-old from Venezuela was most recently on the 2012 novela “Relaciones Peligrosas,” for which he recorded the theme song.

Gabriel is set to star in Telemundo’s newest novela, “Marido en Alquiler,” also starring Juan Soler, Sonya Smith and Maritza Rodríguez.
