Arrarás named Noticiero Telemundo co-host

Just ahead of its upfront presentation on Tuesday evening, Telemundo Media officially announced that Emmy award-winning journalist María Celeste Arrarás will co-anchor “Noticiero Telemundo” alongside José Díaz-Balart.

María Celeste will also continue hosting the news magazine show “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste.”

Telemundo news execs had been testing María Celeste in the national newscast since December.

José Díaz-Balart was previously a solo anchor for the 6:30 pm newscast.
