Luis Cruz has been promoted to News Director at U-T TV, the Union Tribune’s cable and online television station in San Diego, just 9 months since he was hired as Executive Producer of afternoon news and sports programming.
He’s also back on the air, co-anchoring the station’s morning newscast, alongside Kristina Le.
“It’s great to have the vast resources and expertise of journalists at U-T San Diego,” says Luis. “Last month, I oversaw the launch of our new 7 am and 5 pm newscasts…. In early December, we’ll be launching an afternoon newscast at 1 pm.”
The station’s news and programming is streamed 24 hours a day and can be seen online at UTTV.com.
