Entravision has appointed José Villafañe (no relation) to EVP of Entravision Solutions and Entravision Radio Network. His responsibilities include all national spot and network goals for Entravision owned and operated and partner radio stations. He was previously SVP, National Sales for the company. He will be based in New York.
In addition, Entravision is growing its business development team to strengthen coverage of the western and central regions of the country. This expanded team will lead the charge towards creating and growing a variety of new revenue streams for the company.
Before joining Entravision in June of 2010, Villafañe was VP/General Manager of Sedza Broadcasting. Before that, he spent 4 years as National Sales Manager at Univision. He previously worked at Radio Unica as National Sales Manager.
Entravision also announced plans to expand its business development and national sales manager team. Both department managers will continue to report to Eddie Melendez, EVP National TV/Radio and Digital.
