Telemundo Denver KDEN-29 is bolstering its local news team. The station announced it has hired Víctor Rodríguez Tafoya as producer and Sonia Gutiérrez as assignment editor for both of its local newscasts.
Víctor and Sonia will report to News Director Pedro Calderón Michel.
Víctor joins KDEN from Univision’s KINT-26 in El Paso where he was a producer. He previously held assignment desk and producer positions at KUVS-19, Univision’s O&O in Sacramento.
This is Sonia’s first broadcasting job after graduating from college. She previously did internships at KDEN, Noticias Univision Colorado and 9News.
