Bill Hillary was promoted to President of SíTV Media.

NUVOtv and its parent company SíTV Media today announced five new hires and two promotions aiming to strengthen its executive, advertising sales, marketing, programming and human resources teams.

Bill Hilary, until now EVP of programming of NUVOtv, has been appointed to the newly-created position of president, SíTV Media, effective immediately. He’ll report to CEO Michael Schwimmer.

In his new role, Hilary will oversee key operating areas at both NUVOtv and Fuse, once the acquisition of the music network is complete. He’ll continue to have oversight of programming, development, acquisition and scheduling for NUVOtv, with marketing and ad sales now reporting to him as well.

In taking over this new role, Hilary today announced five executive hires. Jason Miller joins NUVOtv as EVP Ad Sales and Integrated Marketing; Jesús M. Rodríguez as SVP marketing; Diane Castro as VP Corporate Communications; Kathryn Mitchell as Head of Scheduling and Acquisitions; and Yolanda Enamorado as VP Human Resources.

Additionally, Lynnette Ramirez has been promoted from VP to SVP programming and development.

Bill Hilary joined NUVOtv as head of programming in 2013, helping re-launch the network in July 2013 around a new programming strategy that showcases Latino entertainment across several genres. Prior to joining NUVOtv, Hilary was COO at World Television Productions International and World Film Group Hong Kong. His TV experience also includes roles as President and CEO of BBC America from 2004-2006 and EVP and GM of Comedy Central from 1999-2004.
