The deal, effective as of this month, adds Telemundo Internacional to HBO’s basic channel lineup in the region. In addition to handling the sales of the channel to cable operators, HBO will also develop and distribute the channel’s new media platforms and manage the marketing strategy with its affiliates.
Telemundo Internacional airs diverse and original programming including telenovelas, news segments and variety shows such as: Corazón Valiente, Flor Salvaje, Caso Cerrado, Suelta la Sopa, Noticiero Telemundo, Al Rojo Vivo and Un Nuevo Día.
