In his new role, Rivera will oversee development of Sun’s digital products, working closely with Sun’s current programming lineup to create innovative, interactive listener experiences while adding unique sponsorship opportunities for clients and agencies.
Rivera was most recently SVP of Advertising Sales for Cumulus Media Networks/Westwood One, where he oversaw the Talk & Hispanic business verticals.
He was previously Sr. VP, Advertising Sales for Citadel Media Networks. Before that, he was VP, New York Sales Manager Premiere Radio Networks, where he spent 10 years.
He has also held executive management roles with AMFM Radio Networks, CBS Radio Networks and Univision Television.
Sun Broadcast Group is a national broadcast network that provides sales representation, distribution and programming support to syndicators and radio networks.
