Sussy Ruiz, currently Executive Producer for KXLN-45, is leaving the Univision station in Houston.
She has been promoted to Regional Manager of Broadcast and Digital News for Univision Television Group (UTG). She’ll be moving to Univision Newsport in Miami and report to Lourdes Torres, VP Regional News and Director.
Her last day in Houston is November 15.
Sussy has been with Univision since March 2002, starting out as an Assignment Desk Manager at KUVN-23 Univision Dallas. She moved to Univision Houston in 2012, where she has been EP for the past 2 years, supervising editorial content for the station’s news platforms, as well as developing social media strategy.
