Telemundo anchors sent to DC to cover Obama’s executive action

“Noticiero Telemundo” anchors José Díaz-Balart and María Celeste Arrarás will be in Washington, D.C. to lead the network’s coverage of President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration.

Telemundo will broadcast Obama’s speech to the nation live from Washington, D.C. tomorrow, November 20 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT/5 pm PT, followed by expert analysis and commentary of the impact the president’s decision to take executive action.

The 6:30 pm network news will also be broadcast from Washington, DC.

The network, which doesn’t have a late night national newscast, will also air a special Noticias Telemundo program at 11:30 pm ET/10:30 pm CT and 11:30 pm PT with a summary of the president’s announcement and in-depth analysis.

Coverage of the president’s action on immigration will continue during regular broadcasts of the network’s news programs and informative segments, including morning show “Un Nuevo Día,” “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste” and “Noticiero Telemundo.”
