Longtime Univision sales executive Andrew Deschapelles has crossed over to competitor Telemundo.
Effective immediately, Deschapelles takes over the role of Vice President of Sales of KTAZ Telemundo Phoenix.
He’ll report to Araceli De León, President and Regional General Manager for Telemundo Phoenix and Telemundo Tucson.
In his new role, he’ll be responsible for developing and implementing all local, national and digital sales strategies for the local Telemundo stations in Phoenix and Tucson.
Deschapelles has held several sales roles of increasing importance since joining Univision Arizona in 1997. He was most recently Director of Sales for KTVW Univision Arizona from 2013 to 2014.
He began his career at Univision Communications as a Regional Account Manager in 1991.
