Sling TV adds Univision to its service

Online TV streaming service Sling TV has signed a deal with Univision to carry its broadcast and cable networks. Both companies made the announcement today.

Under the terms of the agreement, announced today, Sling TV will have over-the-top (OTT) multi-stream rights for live and Video-On-Demand content from Univision’s portfolio.

That means that Sling TV will carry Univision Network, UniMás, Univision Deportes Network (UDN), Galavisión, El Rey Network, Bandamax, De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, tlNovelas, FOROtv as well as Univision and UniMás broadcast stations nationwide.

Sling, owned and operated by DISH, is currently in an invite-only beta test mode. Its programming portfolio includes Disney/ESPN, Turner, Scripps, and Maker Studios.
