New OTT service YipTV targets Hispanics

A new OTT broadband television service hopes to attract multilingual “never corders” in the U.S.

YipTV – which stands for “your individual, personalized TV” – has launched with 50 international channels, offering live broadcasts from around the world.

The startup will air foreign sports, news and dramas. Subscribers will be available to access the content on PCs, Android/iOS mobile devices for $14.99 a month.

The company says YipTV will add more Spanish and Portuguese-language channels in coming months.
