Lizarde named weekend anchor at KVOA

Angelique Lizarde returns to KVOA. She has been hired as weekend news anchor at the NBC affiliate in Tucson. She starts the new job on August 3.

For the past 3 years, Angelique has been working in San Diego.

She was most recently a weekend morning reporter for CW’s “San Diego 6 In The Morning.” Before that, she spent 2 years as a weekday morning reporter for KFMB CBS News 8.

Angelique got her start in broadcasting as a reporter/anchor for KYMA in Yuma.
