This is her first English-language on-air position.
Michelle will be working in the McAllen-Pharr, Hidalgo County newsroom for the station’s weekday 5, 6 and 10 pm newscasts.
Before moving to Texas, she was a news assistant at KABC-7 in Los Angeles.
She was previously a segment host and reporter for Azteca América and an entertainment reporter for Liberman Broadcasting’s Estrella TV.
Her first day at KGBT was Monday, August 8.
