Telemundo today announced today it is launching Telemundo Films to develop, produce and market feature films in English and Spanish for the growing movie-going US Hispanic market.
The new business unit will be part of the Telemundo Studios operation in Miami and led by Telemundo President Luis Silberwasser.
Telemundo Films’ first project is the movie “Lowriders,” starring Eva Longoria and Demian Bichir.
The film is produced in partnership with Imagine Entertainment, Blumhouse Productions’ BH Tilt and Universal Pictures.
