Latino audiences have responded to Telemundo and Univision networks’ call to help the communities impacted by the recent natural disasters in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Florida and Texas.

Both networks have raised a combined $20 million for Red Cross relief efforts to bring aid to those communities through last week’s telethons, in addition to local station-organized phone banks, as well as online fundraising initiatives.

Telemundo raised almost $13 million, while Univision collected $6.8 million so far.

A more detailed breakdown of the fundraising and how celebrities are influencing the donation drives is available on Forbes.
