Carlos Revelo joins the Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley news team as weekend sports anchor.
Already on board, he makes his on-air debut on May 9.
He replaces Nicolás Quintero.
Revelo landed the Telemundo 40 position just weeks after being hit in a massive wave of layoffs at Entravision, where he worked as sports director/anchor for KNVO Univision 48 Rio Grande Valley. Previously, he was a sports director/anchor at Telemundo Oklahoma.
Before that, he has been a freelancer reporter for ESPN Deportes and Hoy newspaper in Los Angeles.
