Jasmina González has found a new home. She returns to Texas, where she has landed a new job as a video journalist at Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley’s weekday newscasts.
She made her on-air debut this week.
González worked as a reporter at KINC Univision 15 in Las Vegas until early April, when Entravision executed massive nation-wide layoffs and dismantled news operations in different cities. Despite being a ratings leader, KINC Las Vegas was among the markets hard hit by the company’s newscast shutdowns.
González previously worked in Texas as an MMJ and sports anchor at Univision KLDO and FOX 39 Laredo.
