Rosario starts new role as Director of Community and Communications at WNJU

July 9, 2018 by Veronica Villafañe

WNJU Telemundo 47 has named Aida E. Rosario Director of Community and Communications.

She had been a consultant at the New Jersey-based station since April.

In her new position, she’ll be working with John Durso, Jr., VP of Community and Communications for WNBC and WNJU, to execute the station’s community and communications strategy.

She began her new staff role last week.

Rosario most recently took a two-year break from the business to pursue a masters degree.

She previously spent 10 years as Director of Communications and Community Empowerment for WXTV Univision 41 and WFUT UniMás in New York. She also co-produced
UniMás’ public affairs show, “En tu Comunidad.” Before that, she worked as Communications Manager for Univision Philadelphia.
