Santamaría returns to Univision Los Angeles as VP and Director of Sales

June 4, 2019 by Veronica Villafañe

Alejandra Santamaría has returned to Univision Los Angeles to take over as VP, Director of Sales, effective immediately.

In her new role, she’ll lead sales for all Univision Los Angeles assets and brands, including KMEX Univision 34, KFTR UniMás 46, Zona MX 101.9 FM, K-Love 107.5 FM, Recuerdo 103.9 FM and 1020 KTNQ-AM.

She’ll be based in Los Angeles and report directly to President and General Manager Luis Patiño.

Santamaria was most recently President of Univision Arizona Local Media. She moved to Arizona in 2014 to join Univision Phoenix as VP of Sales.

The appointment marks Santamaría’s return to KMEX-34, where she started her career as an intern in 1993 and worked her way up the ranks.
